Molecular sieve 3A is used for dehydration of hydrocarbon streams in liquid phase or vapour phase due to high drying efficiency and minimizes the interference of hydrocarbon absorption. Our molecular sieve exhibits high resistance to attrition and physical damage during service.

Major Applications: Commercial dehydration of unsaturated hydrocarbon streams, including cracked gas, propylene, butadiene, acetylene drying polar liquids such as methanol and ethanol. Absorption of molecules such as NH3 and HO from a N2/H2 flow. Considered a general-purpose drying agent in polar media. The 3A structure is particularly effective in dehydrating the inner space of insulating glass windows as well as refrigerant gases.
MOLECULAR SIEVE 5A
Divalent calcium ion is exchanged in place of sodium cation in ~4A crystals which gives pore apertures of ~5A. 5A molecular sieve exclude molecules of effective diameter >5A. eg. All 4-Carbon rings and iso-compounds. Molecular sieve 5A absorbs n-paraffinirrespective of chaon length and not the branched chain hydrocarbon. Hence it is used for specific applications like separations of normal from branched chain paraffin. 5A has excellent drying capacity with simultaneously removing other impurities such as carbon dioxides, hydrogen sulfide. Our molecular sieve exhibits high resistance to attrition and physical damage during service.

Major Applications: Separation of normal paraffin’s from branched chain and cyclic hydrocarbons; removal of H2S, CO2 and mercaptans from natural gas, inert gas drying and purification (removal CO2 with simultaneous drying). Recycle gas sweetening (removal of H2S), pretreatment of natural gas liquification (removal of H2O, CO2, H2S & mercaptans, etc. Molecules absorbed include nC4H1o, nC4H9OH, C3H8 to C22H46 and dichlorodilluoro methane (Freon 12®).
